Parwana Haydar is a London-based artist who works predominantly in film and moving image exploring themes such as memory, family, archives and displacement. She is also a curator of Afghan Visual Arts and History Collective (AVAH) an independent research collective and multimedia platform for artists from Afghanistan and its diaspora. She is a graduate of South London Gallery Radical film school, Other Cinema’s film school and an artist-in-residence at Somerset House.
