Prune Nourry Global Art Project
Global Art Project, started in 2023.
When the people of Iran invited all those in favour of democracy and women's rights to support Women Life Freedom, artists from all over the world expressed their support, notably by filming themselves cutting off a lock of hair.
Prune Nourry, who has had a personal hair collection since 2007, responded to this appeal by proposing a worldwide, participatory work of art. Everyone was asked to send her strands of hair, which she then placed in individual transparent bags bearing the first name and town of the donor, creating a mosaic of hair, as well as a fresco of the envelopes in which the strands were sent from all over the world.
